Delete Your Account

Last updated: September 8, 2026

You can permanently delete your Klovuh account and personal information at any time. This page explains how, what is removed, and what we are required to keep.

1. Deleting your account in the app

This is the fastest route, and it takes effect immediately:

  1. Sign in at klovuh.com, or open the Klovuh app.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Scroll to Delete Account and choose Delete My Account.
  4. Review the summary of what will be deleted, type DELETE to confirm, and submit.

Before you confirm, we show you exactly how many registrations, orders and contact records will be affected. Nothing is changed until you confirm.

2. If you can't sign in

You do not need access to your account to request deletion. Email klovuhgolf@gmail.com from the address associated with your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We will verify ownership of the address and complete the deletion for you, normally within 30 days.

3. What is deleted

  • Your sign-in account, sessions, and any two-factor authentication settings. You will no longer be able to log in.
  • Your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Your contact records held by tournament organizers within Klovuh.
  • Answers you gave to any custom registration questions.
  • Your name and contact details on past tournament registrations and orders.

4. What is kept, and why

We keep a record of transactions that have taken place, with your personal details removed from them. A past order remains as an anonymous record of an amount, a date, and a tournament — it no longer identifies you.

We do this because we are required to. Payment records support:

  • Tax and accounting obligations, for both Klovuh and the tournament organizer.
  • Defending against payment disputes and chargebacks, which card networks allow to be raised long after a payment.
  • Accurate financial reporting for tournaments that have already taken place.

This is permitted under data protection law as processing necessary for compliance with a legal obligation and for the establishment or defence of legal claims. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.

Card numbers and payment methods are held by our payment processor, Stripe, and never by Klovuh. Deleting your Klovuh account does not delete Stripe's own records, which Stripe retains under its obligations as a regulated payment processor.

5. If someone else registered you for a tournament

Tournament organizers can enter players directly — a team captain signing up a foursome, for example. If you were registered this way and never created a Klovuh account, there is no account to delete, and the registration belongs to the organizer's event records rather than to us.

In that situation the tournament organizer decides what happens to their event roster, and your request should go to them. If you are not sure who that is, email us at klovuhgolf@gmail.com and we will point you to the right organizer.

6. If you run an organization on Klovuh

If you are the only owner of an organization, you will not be able to delete your account until that is resolved. Deleting it would leave the organization — along with its tournaments, its other members, and its payment history — without an owner.

Add another owner to the organization, or delete the organization first, and then delete your account. The app will tell you which organizations are in the way.

7. This cannot be undone

Account deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no recovery period and no way to restore a deleted account. If you simply want to stop receiving email, you can turn off marketing messages under Profile → Email Preferences, or use the unsubscribe link in any message, without deleting your account.
